Trailhead Ranch had been a wilderness destination for horse pack trips and active Ranch vacations for outdoor enthusiasts for over 25 years. Owner, guide, horse trainer, teacher, writer, artist and storyteller Anne Schuster began years ago with spirited outdoor education programs and getaway vacations. A reputation for "Great Western Hospitality" has been honestly come by over the years, along with genuine knowledge of Canada's pioneer heritage and wilderness experience.

The Ranch is located near the southern border of Riding Mountain National Park, accessing 2600 km. of wilderness. Your adventure vacation can be comfortable to extreme, with knowledgeable hosting and unique horesback experiences. Anne and her partners are pleased each year to provide family vacations, reunion sites and barbeques, covered wagon tours and horse pack trips.
